This is the interview I did for Tatowier Magazin. It is a great tattoo mag from Germany, most of you won't be able to read it, but I think the layout of the spread came out real nice!

I went to Oaxaca, Mexico for the Dia de los Muertos celebration back in Nov. In the downtown area there are magnificent churches, one of them was dedicated to Lady Soledad. I thought it was very inspirational and wanted to do this painting for her. It's said that sea farers would pray to her for safe travels.
I painted this piece of flash for Temple Tattoo, Freddy Corbin's Shop. Freddy's religious tattoos were always very inspiring so I wanted to give something back. Everyone that works there is also really great. You can see all their work from the Temple Tattoo link.

I wanted to paint something a little more delicate, but keep to classic tattoo imagery. A rose of no man's land...

This is one of the pages of flash I painted for the new Spider Murphy's shop set. You can view all the sheets on our website: spidermurphys.com. . . The set goes for $200 and includes a cover sheet, 12 pages of flash and six 8/10 paintings.

I painted this for my friend, Wes Carter, a great tattooer from Bowling Green, Kentucky.
I'd like to start out my blog with this painting I did for the San Mateo County Fair...
